A family favorite, this casserole is yummy, filling, and easy to make.
- 1lb ground beef
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tube jumbo biscuits
- Cheese slices of your choice (original recipe calls for Velveeta or slices of American cheese)
Preheat oven to 350°
Brown the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and onion (can be dehydrated onion or granulated).
After the ground beef is browned and drained, add the can of tomato soup and the can of cream of mushroom soup. Stir together over a medium high heat, then remove from heat and pour into a greased casserole dish.
Top the meat mixture with the cheese of your choice and then top the cheese with the biscuits.
Biscuits should be placed a good inch or two apart in nice lines. Yes, they are raw, but as the casserole bakes, they will cook through.
Bake this casserole until the biscuits are browned all the way around and the meat and cheese mixture is bubbly.
