This is a very easy way to get breakfast quickly on the table. It is a very versatile recipe and can literally be made any way you like.
This pancake bake also refrigerates well and can be reheated in the microwave. Great for an “on-the-go” breakfast option!
- 1 cookie sheet, greased
- 4 cups of your favorite pancake dry mix
- 1-2 cups oats (can use old fashioned or old quick oats)
- 3 – 3 ½ cups water or milk, depending on how thick you want your batter.
- Brown sugar to sprinkle on last.
Optional add-ins (you decide what you like best!):
- Cinnamon
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Any other baking spices
- Chocolate chips
- Any kind of baking chips
- Sprinkles
- Dried berries
- Cooked breakfast sausage or bacon
- Cheese
- Protein powder
- *Peanut butter
- Etc.
Mix all dry ingredients together, including whatever add-ins you want.
*If you’re adding in peanut butter, you may want to wait until after the water has been mixed in.
Add water. Mix. Batter will be slightly lumpy.
Pour batter onto greased cookie sheet and spread evenly. Sprinkle top with brown sugar.
Bake for 15-19 minutes at 350 F.
Remove when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Cut up into squares and enjoy!
