Mama, do you know that God made you to be a blessing, not only to those around you, but also to yourself?
How many times are we our own worst critic?
How many times do we punish ourselves when there is absolutely no need for it?
In fact, if you are in Christ (if you have asked Jesus into your heart and have a personal relationship with Him), every mess up you’ve ever done, are doing, and will do in the future, has been forgiven and removed and forgotten!

“So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.” - Romans 8:1 TPT
When we punish ourselves with our thoughts, words, or actions, we are actually siding with the enemy, Satan, who is called “the accuser of the brethren.”
We really don’t want to be doing this! It brings nothing but death and darkness into our lives, and only serves to bring us lower, and binds us up in fear and torment. We are essentially condemning and cursing ourselves.
Ladies, we are daughters of the Most High God and we are called to emulate Him, to be like Him, to show who He is to the world and to those around us.
It starts with us.
How we speak to ourselves and about ourselves.
The grace and mercy we need to extend to ourselves.
The kindness and blessing we receive for and into ourselves…it all starts here.
It’s pretty hard to extend all of this loveliness to those around us if we don’t first receive it and take it deep into ourselves where it can grow and thrive and heal.
You were made for more, dear one.
A lonely, horrible existence is not what our loving Father in Heaven wants for us, nor is it what He has provided for us. He wants us to LIVE and THRIVE and be filled to overflowing with His joy and strength and wisdom and kindness…the wonderful list goes on and on and on!
So, mama, bless yourself! Speak blessing and peace and joy to yourself in the mirror and meet your own eyes as you do it.
Speak it from your heart, and I guarantee you will feel the LOVE of Jesus for you like never before, because really, it’s Him talking. He is the One who truly knows you and loves ALL of you…Who speaks life into all the dead and dying parts of your soul and raises and redeems and restores you back to MORE than before!
This is Jesus. And this is what we should look like.
