“What he thinks is what he really is.” - Proverbs 23:7b GNT
There is a phrase, “perception is reality.” And in a very real sense, this is true.
Our perceptions support and can determine our beliefs, and our beliefs are foundational to how we live and make choices.
Whatever we personally believe about everything will determine how we live our lives and whether things end up good or bad.
Do we believe or perceive that motherhood is hard and awful? Then it will be for us.
Do we believe or perceive that our children are gifts and blessings to be cared for and enjoyed? Then they will be to us, and to those around us.
See, we react to the perceptions and beliefs around us, whether positively or negatively.
Children absolutely do this.
If they feel that they are seen as valuable and important, then they will believe that about themselves and act accordingly.

The same goes for more negative beliefs and perceptions.
As we think in our hearts and believe about ourselves and our situations and surroundings, so will it all BE.
This belief is called faith.
“Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.” - Hebrews 11:1 TPT
Faith transforms and shapes our lives in every way.
We all have faith in something or someone…we just need to make sure that our faith is in Jesus and what His Word says, otherwise we will be let down and miserable, time and time again.
Without the Truth of His Word, we will believe lies, and lies are very harmful.
Lies, no matter how small (or big), empower the Father of Lies, Satan. You don’t want him in charge of anything in your life because he only steals, kills, and destroys (John 10:10).
Anything that is less than or the opposite of the Truth that Jesus brings will only enslave us, and we will NOT be living an abundant life at all.
We all want to live an abundant life, full of peace and joy, provision and protection, and victory, right?

The only way to do that is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Once we are connected to Him through receiving His free gift of salvation, real LIFE flows to us from Him and we become new!
The old us who was spiritually dead and a slave to sin, is GONE.
“Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!” - 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMPC
So, what kind of a reality do we want?
Jesus has the best one, hands down, and He WANTS us to be alive, filled with His amazing love, and empowered to succeed in every area!
Choose Jesus!
Faith in Him and what He says will be the best decision you’ve ever made. You’ll never regret it!
Hugs, mama!
You’ve got this!
