What is the most important thing you can do as a mom?
Lead your children to Christ.
The world would say so many other things…
Teach your children how to be considerate of others, make good choices, have good character, be creative, be a good citizen, love and respect others, be the people they were created to be, etc.
All of this is GOOD, but not the number one priority.
All of these things come part and parcel when we seek Jesus first and do what He says and then we teach our children to do the same.
“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” - Matthew 6:33 AMPC
There are SO many pressures on mamas…what about schooling and helping your child be successful in life? That’s pretty huge!
If Jesus is not in the middle of it all, it doesn’t matter what grades your children get (or don’t get) and what successes or failures they go through. Without Jesus, it doesn’t work.
“I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” - John 15:5 AMPC
With Jesus, our children will be successful at whatever they put their hands to, they will make the biggest impact on society they could ever make, and they will fully become the people they were created to be.

See, we didn’t make or form ourselves, God did. He made each and every one of us with a specific design, purpose, plan, and destiny in mind. And it’s all very good!
How are we to know what those things are without Him?
How are we to be truly successful in life apart from Jesus?
The truth is, apart from Him, we can do NOTHING.
It’s simple.
Without Jesus, we falter and fail and never reach our true potential, ever.
WITH Jesus, we are everything we were made to be and a success!
Before we, as mamas, can lead our children to Jesus, we, ourselves, must be led by Him in all things.
The way this happens is simple. And it’s called The Gospel (the Good News!).
Here it is:
1. Everyone has messed up and nothing we can do, ourselves, can ever fix it. The pile of mess-ups (sin) is much too big. (Romans 3:23, 6:23)
2. The penalty for all of our sinning is death. We all deserve to die for what we’ve done. (Romans 6:23)
3. Even if we think we’ve been pretty good people, God’s standard of righteousness is so holy and so perfect (He equates hating someone in your heart to murder, yikes!), that if we’ve broken one law, we’re guilty of breaking all of the laws, ever. (James 2:10)
4. BUT here’s the GOOD NEWS…
5. Jesus LOVES US ALL and personally died in order to forgive and REMOVE COMPLETELY everything we’ve done wrong, past, present, and future. (John 3:16-17, Romans 5:6-10)
6. We become reconciled and restored back to God through believing in and accepting the sacrifice Jesus made for us…we ask Jesus to forgive us and invite Him to become Lord over ALL of our lives.
7. BOOM. Saved! Restored! Fully righteous forever! Freed from the slavery of sin!
8. We can victoriously reign in life (right now!!!) and mother our children with guaranteed success.
Mama, drop everything and get Jesus in your life, RIGHT NOW. The time is short and you can’t afford to spend another minute apart from His saving grace and wisdom and strength.
It doesn’t matter what the world says or pressures you about. Jesus is Lord and what He says is the truth…especially what He says about YOU.
You are LOVED!
Chosen!
Wanted!
Desired!
Redeemed!
Restored!
A success!
And all because of Jesus.
So, if we do nothing else with our lives except teach our children about Jesus and how to run to Him for everything, we will have gloriously SUCCEEDED.
And everything else will fall into place.
Run to Jesus, mama. He’s got this.
Xoxoxo
