Children are special.
They are Heaven-sent presents with God-sized callings and destinies.
They carry blessing and breakthrough, redemption and restoration, and so much more!
It may not always appear as you would like or thought it would, but God’s redemption and restoration of YOU can come through those around you, including your children.
I know it can be scary to think of having children, or having more children than you already have. Most times we feel maxed out in every way and cannot imagine another added to our daily load.
But here’s the amazing thing…the grace, capacity, strength, strategy, and ability to have more always comes with each consecutive baby. I know this from experience.
Even as someone who grew up in a large family and wanted one herself, I still had doubts creep in every time I was pregnant and especially as the birth approached.
The beautiful part of this is, each time, my fears were unfounded.
We did have enough money. We did have enough capacity. The grace to handle the day to day with one more blessing added was miraculously there as a gift…and it came with each one of my children.
It also comes with each one of yours!
Another thing I’ve noticed with having children and mothering them, is that the areas where I need to grow are highlighted by my children.
This is NOT always pleasant, however, I can see the faithful hand of Daddy God still parenting me even though I’m married and not under my parent’s roof and training anymore.
See, God never gives up on us.
Ever.
Those areas of you that you KNOW need to be changed for the better, but you can’t seem to shake, will be highlighted and removed by our loving Daddy God if we let Him.
And, a lot of the time, He uses those directly around us…and that includes our children.
He can give us opportunities to “redo” or redeem something from our past through the children that He gives us.
Remember, each one of us is an answer to someone’s prayer. So are your children, and they are especially picked for you and your family!
God loves you THAT much.
