Hi.
I see you.
I hear your battle cry raising high above the mist (or dust cloud) that currently obscures your vision.
You are strong! You are BRAVE! And even if you’re not sure what to do, you just keep on going.
That’s GUTS. That’s beautiful courage. And that is part of who YOU are…you are courageous! You have grit, and you have guts. You’re a mom. It’s kinda required. And, if you’re not sure you’ve got what it takes, don’t worry, you do!
You love your children.
You care about them in every way.
You can do it.
They’re counting on you.
To the mom who wants to throw the towel in and scream and shout “ENOUGH!!!”…
I know…
I know.
Here’s a hug and a cup of tea (or coffee).

You’re going to make it.
I know, I know, it doesn’t look like it, feel like it, smell like it, or seem like it AT ALL. But, it’s true. You are going to make it.
Motherhood is messy. And so mysterious. And so obvious. And so beautiful. And so heart-wrenching. And so ugly. And stinky. And downright gross sometimes. But I still wouldn’t trade it for anything else in this world.
And I have a feeling, neither would you, when it really comes down to it.
So, in what I like to call “the swirl”, when all hell seems to be breaking loose constantly and you can hardly breathe, let alone tell which way is up, stop, close your eyes, and breathe for a moment.
Picture God’s heart. Picture yourself being held tightly in His big, strong arms.
He loves you a whole ton.
Listen to His heartbeat.
Let His breathing slow your panicked breath and let your body start to relax.
It’s okay. It’s really and truly going to be okay.
He is the calm in the midst of your storm. All of them. Big and small. No storm is too big for His powerful love and neither is any storm too small to escape His loving eyes (which are always turned towards you with compassion and mercy). (Psalm 145:9)
Mama. Look at me.

Picture me gently holding your face and meeting your eyes with mine.
Repeat after me…
“It’s going to be okay.
It will all work out because Jesus loves me and is helping me. (Romans 8:28)
I am powerful in His strength and I can do all things because He strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
I CAN do this.
I will be okay.
My children will be okay.
My house will be okay.
My family and friends will be okay.
Because Jesus loves me and protects me and perfectly provides for all my needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
I LOVE you and so does Jesus!!!
And I am so happy and so glad that you chose this amazing thing called Motherhood.
Much love and hugs to you! You can do this!!!
Xoxoxo
Kristi
