motherhood

What is Kingdom Motherhood/Mothering??

It’s putting Christ at the head of everything.

Every choice.

Every thought.

Every task.

Literally everything.

In Colossians 3:11 it says that “Christ is all and is in all.” May that be said of our mothering!

It’s going through your days and your nights with Him, talking, listening, and following what He shows you to do.

Did you know Jesus cares about your day? And the sleepless night you just had?

He has perfect strength, provision, and energy for you…you don’t have to drum it up yourself. Besides, that piles more tired on top the already tired that you have and who needs or wants that?!

Let Him into your day, invite Him into your heart of hearts and share your deepest, darkest, and brightest hopes/dreams/fears with Him. I know for a fact that He LOVES chatting!!! He can even be more chatty than we are!

His heart is to move through us, to empower us to take on our daily tasks with peace and joy, aware of His immense Grace that is SO much bigger than any of the messes that we make.

That brings freedom. And when we are free, we can pass that freedom on down to our children, instead of our messes.

Now, are we still going to make messes? YES!

Are we still works in progress? YES!

However, Jesus is not threatened by our messes and He certainly isn’t surprised by them! He lives outside of Time, so He’s already seen how we’re going to mess up, and already has the cleanup crew and healing solutions that we need. Every. Single. Time.

Every time.

Really and truly!

It’s going to be okay.

Inviting Jesus into the heart of who you are as a mom – inviting Him into the heart of your home- will bring amazing and lovely transformation! And that’s what we want, right? To be transformed and to ascend above the mess…to not worry anymore, “am I ruining my children.” Instead we get to see Jesus at work in our hearts, in our homes, and in the hearts of our children and spouses, bringing hope, healing, creative solutions, and answers we hoped for, but never thought were possible. It’s possible!!!

All things are possible with Christ.

All. Not some…ALL.

“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With people [as far as it depends on them] it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” Matthew 19:26 AMP

So invite Him in, dear one, and watch your messes change into something beautiful. He’s SO good at what He does!

Much love and hugs,

Kristi
